In view of the restrictions to contain the Coronavirus pandemic, and in order to ensure that we can still enjoy our beloved PDD, we have decided to celebrate it as a virtual Hopin event on November 13th.
As in previous years, you will have the opportunity to share your work with the Berlin PostDoc community.
Talks will be selected from the submitted abstracts, and will consist in 10-15 minute slots in the main stage of the event. The format is the classic: A slideshow that you will present, in this case sharing from your computer.
Posters consist on 2-3 slides that will be displayed in an individual virtual board. Assistants can freely wander in, and you will be able to chat and discuss.
You also have the option to assist without contribution, but we encourage you to show us your research and opt for prizes!
Registration is open from September 23rd. Abstract deadline is October 18th Selected speakers will be notified by October 30th

Due to the extraordinary measures adopted by our home institutions MDC and FMP to contain the spread of the coronavirus, PostDoc Day 2020 is indefinitely postponed.
As of 12th March 2020, all public events are cancelled initially until the 20th July 2020. It is our intention to re-schedulePDD2020 as soon as normal activity is resumed and we can confirm a new date. We will keep you informed as the situation progresses in this website, via email, and through our Twitter account. All registrations for PDD2020 up to now can be considered cancelled, so those of you who already signed in will have to register again once an alternative schedule is decided.
We are sorry for the inconvenience but hope that this decision will contribute to control the situation. In the meantime, we look forward to meet again and listen to your talks, discuss science, career, and enjoy your company.
